June’s 6 for $60

Les Vignerons de Florensac :  Picpoul de Pinet
Languedoc-Roussillon, France

Crystal clear lemon color with hues of green. Aromas of grapefruit, unripe peaches, and briney coastal winds are continued onto the refreshing palate. The finish is snappy with a light acidity coupled with an elegant salinity. Enjoy with little neck clams and  garlic pasta..

Bodega Katxiña, Txakoli de Getaria :  Hondarrabi Zuri
Txakoli de Getaria, Spain

Aromas of pear, lime, and chamomile waft from the glass supported by a spritz of bubbles. Flavors of Key limes, stone fruit, Honeycrisp apples, and a touch of minerality all come together for a vibrant finish. A perfect pairing for charcoal-grilled rockfish.

Bacaro  :  Pinot Grigio Rosato
Veneto, Italy

Soft light pinkish hues color the glass while aromas of apricot, citrus notes, and peach blossoms fill the air. Peaches and rose petal flavors are followed by both strawberry and raspberry on the palate. Serve well-chilled and enjoy with Thai chicken enchiladas.

Bodega Torre San Millán “Gorrebusto”  :  Tempranillo
Rioja, Spain

Crafted with Tempranillo, Mazuelo, and Viura grapes, this Tempranillo has a developed bouquet of red berries, smoke, and vanilla spice. This wine is well balanced with purple hues. The palate boasts a wonderful balance of red fruit and toasted oak flavors. Pairs well with tapas.

Viña Aresti “Special Reserve”  :  Carménère, Syrah
Rapel Valley, Chile

This 50/50 blend has an intense ruby color. A bold offering from the Rapel Valley that  gives us a beautiful union of  bright red fruits and  blackberries all finished off in French oak, showcasing a dry, velvet-chocolate finish with soft tannins. Bright red fruits integrate well with cedar notes and black pepper; a perfect complement to barbequed cauliflower steaks.

Château la Condamine, “Vieilles Vignes”  :  Red Blend
Corbières, France

Grenache, Carignan, Syrah, and Mourvedre all contribute to giving us this very plush intense purple wine in the glass. A sumptuous dark fruited nose transitions into rich and complex  blueberries and black currants.  A tart cherry acidity in the finish keeps the structure all in balance. Enjoy this wine with shrimp and Andouille jambalaya.
